What We Do
AntiqueTrip.Com is compiled by reference to a wide variety of classic cars sold data sources, including clubs, auction results and advertisements, both printed and online.
We are on a mission to empower classic car buyers, sellers, and enthusiasts with insights to inform their next purchase or sale. We are starting with market values, price comparisons.
Our Goals
It was important that our guide would be more of a "real world" price report of what dealers and collectors had actually paid for the classic car shown on our site. The sources would be prices realized for clocks sold at auction, mostly purchased by knowledgeable dealers and collectors. We wanted to provide our subscribers with other important information and features as well, including:
- The source of each value (sold price, sold date and place the auction was held).
- The complete description of the classic cars as it appeared in the auction catalog.
- At least one color photograph of the classic cars, with additional detail photos if available.
- An interactive database searchable by keyword, by maker's name.
- Information that helps subscribers determine the approximate age of their clock.
- The history of some major manufacturers.
- Tips on buying and selling classic cars.
Our Results
Our archive now contains listings of more than 300,000 classic cars and have added a minimum of 40,000 classic cars each year since then.
