Description:
VERY NICE, 289 A CODE V8, 4 SPD, REV WHEELS, GOOD PAINT, NICE INTERIOR, GR8 PONY
The first-generation fastback Mustang is the rarest and most desirable version out there, and this 1966 example comes with the best attention-grabbing touches. Cool blue paint, V8 power, four-speed standard transmission, and the right upgrades during restoration all make this 1966 Ford Mustang irresistible.
Caspian Blue is an attractive way standout against the more common red or black 2+2 Mustangs. This shade borrowed from the '65 palette looks especially nice because there's been an investment in a professional application that gives this one an added depth when the sunlight hits the modern clearcoat. Bodywork is excellent with straight panels and good alignment throughout, which means you can shut the doors with confidence every time. It's also nicely detailed, just as it would have been in 1966, with bright chrome bumpers and those iconic 289 badges on the front fenders. But there's also something more. We bet you've noticed the cool hood scoop. It gives this racy fastback a cool connection to the GT350 and helps establish a personality all its own. The same goes for the bright 15-inch REV wheels.
This special feeling continues inside. A pristine black interior is always ...
